Instagram Video Format
To start with, do not try and also post substantial videos, whatever is downscaled to a maximum size of 1080 pixels (height can be anything, square or not), so posting ultra-HD videos (or videos with an extremely high bitrate) is pointless.
We transcode the video after you post it, so it will take a bit longer for you to publish a video data than it provides for an image data. That allows you see a preview of what the video that we will upload will certainly look like by clicking the video icon/ thumbnail on the blog post.
Expect videos to take a long time much longer than photos to in fact publish at your scheduled time and date. This is as a result of their relative filesize when we post it to Instagram.
For how long can your videos be?
Instagram limits videos to 60 seconds, so ensure your video is One Minute or much less or it will be chopped instantly (see Instagram aid paper).
Just how brief can your videos be?
videos have to go to least 3 secs long or Instagram won't allow us publish them (see Instagram help document).
Detailed video specifications
Videos do not have to be to the below specification: however we recommend that if you're outputting video data specifically for the purpose, keep them shut!
-Make-up Size: maximum size 1080 pixels (height anything, although within the same ratios as pictures).
-Frame Rate 29.96 frameworks per second (max 30fps, however must be dealt with, not variable).
-H. 264 codec/ MP4.
-5,500 kbps video bitrate (although Instagram may minimize this to 3,500 kbps when we upload it).
-AAC audio codec at 44.1 kHz mono (as much as 128kbps).
File dimension isn't especially restricted by Instagram, yet we recommend keeping your videos under 50MB. Schedugram has a 150MB documents dimension limit when you are publishing files. For reference, the majority of 60 second videos uploaded to Schedugram are around 30MB.
