Group Names On Facebook
Luckily the group name isn't really because little category of long-term names, and it's not totally apparent ways to alter it, but it can be done.

To start, go to your group page on Facebook however do not click on "Edit Settings" since it ain't what you want. Instead look down the right side of the page. About a 3rd of the method down you'll see these choices:.
Click on "Edit Group" and you'll see a heap of different alternatives that you can customize, most notably the group name:.
Let's focus a bit on that so you can see exactly what it appears like:.
To change your Facebook group name, merely click in the text box that has the existing name and use ERASE, arrows and much like change the name to one that's more appropriate. For this presentation, I altered the group name from "Front Range Blog Writer Meetup: The Facebook Group" to just "Front Range Blogger Meetup".
When you've set it appropriately, click "Conserve" at the bottom of the window and.
Done. Not too hard once you understand where to click.
Confusingly, though, the page that consists of the notice of the modification being accepted still has the old name displayed:.
No concerns. That's simply a caching problem: click on "Back to Group" and we see the :.
Now we're done and it's verified.
I must point out that everybody in the group will see an upgrade notification that the name has been changed, however I can't envision that's a problem:.
